Expertise, passion and continuous development

What defines our team

Our team consists of engineers, technicians and specialists who have turned their passion for electronics into a profession. Every new colleague spends the first few weeks in all departments. This creates not only a deep understanding of our processes, but also a strong sense of teamwork from the start.

This principle of internal mobility is also supported at SEMITRON after the onboarding phase: Many of our employees have gone through various stages within the company over the years and taken on new responsibilities. Around half of our workforce has been with us for more than ten years and our management comes from within our own ranks.

Long-term prospects and personal growth, along with the associated continuous professional development, are an integral part of our working culture. In our own training center, multi-day training sessions with manufacturers take place regularly to further expand our product knowledge.

We encourage personal responsibility and flat hierarchies ensure that new ideas can be implemented quickly. This creates a work environment where technical expertise and collegial collaboration go hand in hand.

How we work

Short communication channels

"My door is always open" – this is not just a platitude from our Managing Director Jürgen Rohland. Anyone with an idea or a problem to solve can come directly. Direct communication and short channels characterize not only the exchange with customers, but also collaboration within the team.

Technical expertise through passion

Explaining complex issues in an understandable way is an art. Our Field Application Engineers and Technical Sales Engineers master it, because our strength is based on technical expertise that arises from passion.

Challenges as a driving force

Our test house team has been developing customized solutions for customer projects for years. When a component has special requirements regarding specifications or packaging, we find a way and grow with the challenge.

Focus on foresight

We think not only about the immediate solution, but also about the long-term usability and supply security of components, and support projects from the initial idea through the entire product lifecycle. This forward-looking approach also shapes our internal work methods and is reflected, for example, in our structured onboarding process.
